The future of Waste management begins with you

Mandatory Waste Segregation — nationwide from 1st June 2022.

Hero Image

Most of us may think the responsibility of managing waste belongs to WAMCO. The truth is, with our current waste behaviors, this is no easy task. Many of us set out waste containing numerous resources that can be recycled and recovered. The lack of segregation, collection, and transportation of unsegregated mixed waste for many years had a negative impact on our environment. WAMCO is here to support the solution. Beginning 1st June 2022, in line with the 5th Amendment to Waste Regulation (R-13/2013), WAMCO is complying with mandatory waste segregation for all waste disposals and pickups in the Maldives. Do your part to help our environment by separating your waste before disposal.
